i Ching, or Book of Changes, is an ancient book of Chinese wisdom attributed to the Chinese Emperor Fu Hsi (2953 - 2838 B.C.) and is believed to be one of the oldest books in the world and has had a  major influence on Chinese philosophy and religion.

It is possible to type in Mandarin Chinese. It is necessary to learn the Chinese characters and it helps to know the pinyin (spelling of the word in Romanized letters). There is a web site where typing syllables of the word in pinyin (using a standard keyboard) will bring up Chinese characters for that spelling, and you select the proper character to type in the field. For example, the word for security and safety is anquan in pinyin and in Chinese is 安全. The web site can be found at
